While researching a QuickBooks alternative for a client I came across a tremendous amount of conflicting opinions on what works best.  That makes sense when you consider the variety and size of businesses.  No bookkeeping application will perfectly accommodate every user in every business.


One thing is certain.  The applications are getting more complicated and making a selection requires a diligent effort on the part of the client and the advisor.  There is also the decision about cloud versus on premise.
